Cash recovery
There are at least three basic types of audit tests which can be be used to identify potential duplicate payments. These tests include:
- "Near miss" invoices
- "Split" invoices
- Exact duplicates
Each of these tests can be applied on data sources in a variety of formats. Data sources may include Excel, Access, SQLite, text files (comma separated values, tab separated values), MySQL and SQLite databases. For each audit procedure category there is a description of the various functions available, the audit objectives they can help address, a screen shot illustrating the process and a narrative on how to complete and run the form.
