All these data analysis software tools are available at no cost. They support commonly used audit procedures such as identification of duplicates, gaps, Benford's law, outliers, population summaries, data classification and stratification, univariate statistics, histogram and Pareto charts. Such procedures facilitate sample selection and identification of potential errors.
We provide three audit software tools in support of analysis of data in Excel: Analytical SoftwareAnalytical software is efficient and effective because installation is simple. XL Audit Commander (XLAC)Perform complex analytical procedures from within Excel. Uses an unobtrusive toolbar which provides a variety of audit commands. This is an add-in which requires an Internet connection. See examples of audit commands in action.
