XL Audit Commander is a computer assisted audit tools tool (CAAT) for data analysis and data mining. The idea is to simplify data analysis and fraud
detection. The audit software procedures include testing
conformity with Benford's law in order to identify unusual
data distributions, quantifying population
characteristics using statistics as well as the
identification of outliers. Using this audit
software, the auditor can better classify and analyze the data
population being tested.
